the U.S spends more on its armed forces than the rest of the world put together.

the military accounts for $343 billion of the total Federal budget of $1,900 billion in 2002

since 9/11 the military budget jumped by $46 billion

yet more than 31 million Americans live in poverty

but that's cool though because now I understand the need for the U.S to bomb everybody's ass, how else they gonna justify that level of spending, with no for real enemies in sight.

Thanks to their military expenses the US are suffering from trillions (!) of dollars in national debt. That country is totally broke, and the only way to save its existence is to go for the oil. Why? Because the barrel value carries the Dollar (until 1973 that job was done by gold, a rather smart choice). If the US dont control ALL the oil in this world, the Dollar will lose its value and --- flushhh - there goes the US. Thats the reason why the war in Iraq and gaining control over the arab countries is so important to america - its the last chance to survive another ten years.
People who call this view apocalyptic are simply blind and are ignoring the fact that by 2004 the world will suffer from its worst economical crisis since 1929. And it will become worse...

for the sceptics: At wall street they have lowered the interest 4 times this year already, but NASDAQ and Dow Jones dont seem to get a lift! Thats a bad bad sign and please dont blame it on 9/11. Because Enron happened before 9/11. Because the US national debt was in the trillions before 9/11.

since 9/11 the US has opened ten new military bases in the oil rich central asiatic countries, such as Uzbekistan and Kazakstan. once the flow of oil dries in the middle east these central asiatic republics shall be the new battleground. and the US knows there's nothing like being well prepared.

Here is what the war Attack on Iraq will cost the U.S. citizens.:
--Funding $80-$100 billion dollars
--Rebuilding Iraqi economy $50 - $150 billion dollars
--Security $16.5 billion dollars (75,000+ troops remaining at least for the first year for security)
--remaining troops for 5-10 years thereafter $1 billion

As well as all of this, the U.S. will make donations to humanitarian,emergency and civil service aid. This is estimated at $25 billion over the next decade.

Just an example of whatyou buy with $100 billion: Health insurance for every uninsured child in the entire U.S. for 5 years.
