yeah was just reading some impressions on GAF, every user that bought one loves it so far...im still on the fence in regards to upgrading...

The only new feature that interests me is the DSWare store...hopefully VC games ala Wii will be an option. If yes than instant buy for me.

As far as the built in browser goes, all the new japanese owners are reporting its not built in at all, you have to log onto the store and download it, free.

the SD card function is one of the main reasons because that makes using mod chips alot easier

I usually hate it when Nintendo keeps releasing the same product upgraded over and over...but this is SUCH an epic upgrade that I am actually going to get it.

I was going to get one this month for my nephew (and maybe myself too ) but not any more. The OS is Japanese only, no 'backup' cards work in it and it's region locked too.

Guess I'll wait until next year.

I'd only have a mod chip for my DS because I love the Japanese versions of games AND VC doesn't have all of the games. I would put DS games on there. Just games that out of print.....like Battletoads
