The majority of diet pills out there today are nothing but caffeine. They are useless.

a friend of mine used some pills, but they must have had ephedrine in them, cause he ended up with a cerebral haemorrhage. (but he had high blood pressure before he started)

Diet pills are nothing but legal speed. They're a socially acceptable narcotic, and dangerous and unhealthy t'boot. Anyone who takes them is literally putting their well-being in danger. Being skinny isn't worth organ damage. neutral

I've read some reviews about them and they said some of them are okay, but the majority of them are not. Especially "Hydroxycut". I remember trying those out when I was in college to drop the "freshman 15" I had gained, but those things kept making my heart race too fast. I got scared one day and just stopped taking them altogether. Plus at one point you had to take like 3 pills twice a day, I thought that was outrageous and stopped before it got that far.

Even detoxing is iffy to me. I was on a detox program a couple of months ago, it was suppose to last three months, but I stopped after the 2nd month because I was tired of feeling like I had diarrhea everytime I had to poop. Your ass becomes sore after a while, and your stomach cramps something awful when its letting you know to "run to the bathroom and quick" or you will shit yourself. disbelief

They can help, but generally people are better off modifying their diet.

Really most diet pills are bloody dangerous, Ive even know people to become addicted to them...and some quite useless as well and they are not something that should be a permanent solution by any means no no no!
