At what point in your relationship(s) did you first say to your partner those gorgeous words 'I love you'?

It's a very strong statement to make and takes quite a lot of courage to say it for the first time to the person who you are with.
Personally, it took me about eight months of being with my partner before I realised that I couldn't bear to be without him and it was then that I realised that I had to say those words to him so that he would realise just how I felt.
Luckily, he felt the same and told me that he loved me too. The first time you admit that to each other is a truly magical moment.

However, it's an even braver soul who will say 'I love you' to someone that they've lived with and/or loved for a long time.

When was the last time that you actually told your long-term partner that you loved them? Not including saying it as a prelude to, or during sex, which is probably the most common time for someone to say 'I love you' to their partner.
When was the last time that you told your parents or siblings that you love them?
And what about your close friends? Have you had the courage to tell them that you love them?

I'm not trying to sound syrupy here, but I would love to know how you feel about actually saying those three little words out loud to someone.

That depends on the inflection and the way you say it..

i think there sould b a bunch of words for love like the eskomos have many words for snow to describe it,

When I say the words, "I love you", I mean it with all of my heart.

However, usually I will say, "Love you", or something similar, in an attempt to protect myself so that I don't get hurt. If I don't add the "I", I guess my mind thinks something else. Sadly enough, I even do this with my mom.

My last boyfriend said 'I love you' after tree days!!! I was so shocked that I just gave him a quick kiss and ran away as soon as I could. It was just too early, it felt suffocating.

The last time I said I love you, was to my best friend! That felt good!!

Well the first time I told my boyfriend that I Loved Him was like a year after we started dating and the relationship lasted for 4 and a half years. Damn I miss that bear of mine.
