Ok, im a Huge movie fan, DVDS are so better than VHS, im yet to see a Blu Ray Disc, I have to wait until Christmas, but I'm Wondering , how many people out there still Keep their VHS Tapes, Most of the movies are now on DVD, but some arent, I have a few,...like Apollonia's "Black Magic Woman".

Yeah, Y not? I'm not trying 2 re-buy every movie I own. I did that with my Prince collection as best I could- it's not cheap. I just bought a combo player 2 accommodate them.

I still have an 8-track player. lol

I still have some. I've replaced a few of my favorites over the years, but it may take me a while to replace them all.

I have quite a few. I bought one of those recorders/transferers so I can pop in the VHS tapes and transfer them to DVD. Cheaper than buying new ones.

I have an Emerson, which is not the best, but affordable for me. wink

I purchased this product so that I could transfer some old VHS tapes to DVD-R's. This product is successful in fulfilling that project with relative ease. Read the directions and prepare to mess up once or twice if you've never used a product like this before. Then before you know it, you'll be editing and transfering like a pro.

I keep EVERYTHING that's audio/video. I have 2 8-track tapes (both KISS), tons of cassesttes, dvd's, vhs tapes, cd's. AND I have like 5 Lazer Discs. Remember those? They're as big as LP's but they're movies.

I sold all my VHS movies on ebay a long time ago. I still have a few music videos on VHS because they'll probably never get released on DVD. But after getting a hi-def TV and blu-ray player, VHS tapes are pretty tough to watch because I'm so used to better quality now.

Yes. And wierdly enough, I'll STILL buy a VHS movie if it's something I've wanted but didn't want to pay top dollar for. I bought Amadeus and Boyz in the Hood for 2 bucks apiece at a dollar store the other day!

Dude, don't you dare get rid of it. The big joke in my family is that when I die I want all my cd's and other audio to be buried with me.

I'm the same, I keep absolutely everything! An old friend visited me only a few weeks ago and asked why I still had a video player under the t.v.? To watch videos of course! was my reply.. Duh!!

I am slowly transfering everything to digital, but even when that mammoth task is completed I don't think I could part with any of it.
