With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

My only big goal is to continue to enjoy life as much as possible (i.e. be mindful, thankful, relax, and drink it all in!). But you go to a shrink? I'm sorry. I just would've thought that would run completely counter to Zen practice (or that of any other Eastern religion or philosophy). Just can't picture it.

Wait, that sounded a bit aggressive. How about...

Sure. All I have to do is wait for Gene to kick the bucket and/or go broke.

I didn't read it that way; I just thought it sounded like a good question. What's your favourite track on Extraordinary Machine?
Never heard the album. Unless it's in italics, everything on my list is a song. P.S. Did you know that Fiona Apple has done psychoanalysis for years? More importantly, David Blaine spanked her so hard, she had trouble sitting on her piano stool.

Similar to me then. If pushed I'll say I'm Taoist, but really I just enjoy reading Eastern philosophy and I take certain things from all kinds of Buddhist, Taoist, Zen and Confucianist texts I happen to read. I suppose there are plenty of Buddhist rituals I perform regularly, but that's more of a cultural thing in support of my wife. I'm not really one for organised religion either. Oh, so you meant the song 'Extraordinary Machine', not the album. It's a good track.

Some of the lyrics are a bit pretentious, but I like the music and the refrain ("Be kind to me or treat me mean / I'll make the most of it, I'm an extraordinary machine"). I aspire to fit that description. I should note that I first heard this couplet via an orger's sig (Sweeny?). If it was Sweeny, let me thank you again! If it wasn't Sweeny, let me apologize for forgetting who it was.

Whatever Sir Alan's is. How does one apply to be a Sir? I want to be one. Sir Alan likes money in his sandwiches. You can apply to be a SIR by writing to the queen and stating your reasons for why you think you deserve this honour. Be sure to include: 1. Any criminal convictions (they like those) 2. Any drug addictions (the like those too) 3. Any peculiar fetishes (the LOVE those) 4. And last but not least, your credit card number. Upon receiving your knighthood you must thank the Queen personally by getting down on all fours and being a "human table" while she watches Eastenders and smokes a fag. Then you have to attend to Princess Annes personal "needs."
