I got one, too. But they tried to mask their true intentions by diverting it to me through the John McCain for President organization.

yeah sorta...it was supposedly some lady there studying in Nigeria that was buying the phone for her son in Germany...

She needed it fast
Supposedly sent the payment through some weird site
Then switched to money order

Her emails were full of errors and we were later checking out her email address and her "ebay affiliated payment site" and it was all bogus disbelief

he was so depressed over the whole thing for a while cause he felt so stupid for not seeing the signs sooner
If you will, so will I

Yeah....the signs R pretty blatant.
Mine was a a lawyer representing some sick man...bla bla bla.
As a lawyer, his spelling was atrocious. (1st sign)
The receipt from Western Union that I received claimed it was paid by a VISA card, but the number it showed represented an AMEX (I have a lot of experience IDing Credit Card numbers.....2nd sign).
When I saw those 2 signs....I traced the Transaction number on the receipt thru Western Union.....didn't exist.
So I went along with the scam and told him that I sent out the merchandise...along with a fake tracking number....just 2 see what would happen.
