The 96 Bulls would have lost to Magic's Lakers or Bird's Celtics in a tough seven-game series. They wouldn't go down easy, but they'd still lose.

The Bulls were stronger(top to bottom) when they won their first three titles.

Ah! On the contrary, my ATLien - MJ's the best SG ever, with Kobe on his heels. I don't compare players that don't play the same position; makes no sense. thumbs up!

In the 90s, in the playoffs, the Bulls never faced a team in East that had 2 HOFers on it. They had 2, 3, if Rodman gets in because of his rebounding skills. MJ's Bulls always held that advantage.

Was there a team that WON a title who did NOT have an advantage?

Let me reiterate, when MJ made his title runs, he never faced another team with 2 HOFers on it. After MJ, Dr. J, and Zeke's team got old, MJ didn't have to face HOF duos in the playoffs.

You mean facing a team to which the losing team had more HOFers on it? Yep. 2004 Pistons.

Naw, dawg - THE EAST! The teams I named were ALL IN THE EASTERN CONFERENCE. After the Celts, Pistons, and 6ers faded, MJ NEVER faced a team in the Eastern conference playoffs that had 2 HOFers on it.

True. I thought Tyrus was gonna start to really ball, but he and Noah are lookin' like suckas right about now. If they keep a core of Hughes, Gooden, and Rose, and build around that...they'd be ok.

It's the truth...right now, Bulls have a bigger upside than the Knicks. NY is going to suck for the next two years. Then we have to pray Walsh can land some of the top free agents in 2010.
