As for this second time, you could say she had enough of Bill's blood -- and straight from the source -- that there are certain longterm effects: heightened senses, increased libido, an empathic link to Bill, etc. He mentioned that in Ep. 2. Strength could be another byproduct. And to the extent you may have detected something (though I don't think Alan Ball is quite flirting with this part of Sookie's character yet)... there is something "special" about her in the books. It's what gives her telepathy. I won't say more, though. Did everyone forget how they wrote in telekinesis for her in the 1st episode and then conveniently forgot about it anytime they wanted to put her in peril? I thought that was interesting. I'd love to see the script for that pilot episode. I, too, initially thought Sookie used telekinesis to tighten the chain around dude's neck, but I've read a couple possible alternatives, one explaining that was simply gravity on a heavy chain around a stationary object. The other hinges on a plot aspect that was present in the test pilot that Alan Ball edited out from the version that aired. (But it wasn't Sookie's doing. ) Also, for what it's worth (because the TV writers seem to be taking some liberties), I don't think Sookie is telekinetic in the books. ...Can any of y'all who've read the books say otherwise? I think she uses the pig as a guard dog or hey, how about her assistant who doesn't speak -the one who fixed Tara breakfast and took her phone I forgot about him - may-be he's the piggy! Oh my! Um, may-be Eggs could be a love intrest for Tara but there's something definately weird about that lady and her assistant. Sam knows the deal. May-be Sam was once her guard dog. Hmmm.... I don't know if I can wait for the summer Going through withdrawals.... uhhhhh Actually, the naked pig lady's assistant was serving Tara breakfast when she was on the outside vibrating with the pig. It can't be him.

there is one thing that has bothered me about this series tho, some shows were only like 50 mins long in a hour block ..when u watched oz and the wire previously, it filled up the whole hour.
makes u wonder when this comes out on dvd, the amount of possible deleted scenes there could b man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Sookie had "V" when she drank Bill's blood. she hadn´t drank V anytime near the time she was attacked She drank a lot of Bill's blood when he saved her from being beaten to death. She still had some of the effects in her system. I'm firmly planted in denial

The V cranked her up even more. you may have heard this before but she hadn´t drunk V around either of the 2 times that she was attacked. The first time she was attacked she displayed superhuman strength, that´s more than someone who just knows how to take care of themselves. When she went after the Rats for trying to drain Bill she was by no means superhuman. I'm firmly planted in denial

The pig lady was vibrating with the pig after they showed Tara and Eggs meeting for the first time after breakfast and after she swam so it's a strong possiblility the pig is the assistant. We even didn't hear the assistant speak yet so the pig must be the assistant! Pigs don't speak LOL! As for Lafayette, after looking at the show again, his fingernails weren't painted this time so maybe they want us to think it's him and it's really Tara's mom. HMMMMM Um... let me warm up my vocals

(I can't believe we're saying things like 'the vibrating pig must be the assistant' ) And about Layfayette - remember when Tara said that he disappeared once for eight months to gogo dance somewhere? PLUS - it makes sense that the pig lady would want to get rid of Tara's mom.

Rightly, just as Sookie grabbed that guy's foot, BILL unexpectedly threw him upward. Seconds later, they showed that Bill was moving so fast he was barely visible. He did the same thing soon thereafter to the guy's wife, hurling her even farther. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Bill did all the supernatural ass kicking when Sookie was being beaten to death. When she stopped the Rats from draining Bill, the guy Rat easily yanked the chain out of her hand. Sookie knows how to handle herself because she's seen a lot of bar fights and Jason is a big fighter. She gets physically stronger only after taking Bill's blood. I'm firmly planted in denial

For an Oscar winning child actress, as an adult she is THE MOST irritating "crier" I've seen.
The only time her crying didn't hit me like nails on a chalkboard was when she was beaten to a pulp, laying on her couch and Arlene asked her if Bill was going to be okay. THAT bit of crying actually looked authentic. I'm firmly planted in denial

I'm still trying to pin point the black person's foot with the polish...
There are only like 6 black people in Bon Temps: 1. Lafayette 2. Tara's mom 3. The fake voodoo lady 4. The black vampiress 5. The black female cop who arrested Tara 6. Eggs A lot of people is hoping it's not Lafayette, I hope it's Tara's mom b/c even though she's trash on tv, her acting skills are way beyond any of the actors on there. The fake voodoo lady should be in that car too b/c she did Tara and her mom wrong. If it was the black vampriress, she would have been a bubbling mess. If it was the black female cop who arrested Tara, I just don't see the point of why she was killed or even in the show. I know it isn't Eggs b/c I think he's a pigment of MaryAnne's imagination that is playing with Tara's mind. [Edited 12/1/08 8:13am] Um... let me warm up my vocals
