as a show is begining it's hard 2 order enough episodes 4 a full season but at some point they give the go ahead 2 complete the whole season ..

I think the senator killed Layfayette - think about it - why would he jump up on a dumpster to get away from a vamp? It was to get away from a car.

Also, how is Bill going to explain Jessica to Sookie? She's a total brat and is going to be causing all sorts of problems.

I don't think Eggs ( ) is the piggy because he was talking with Tara when Marianne was outside vibrating with it. ( )

I do think, though, that Sam was taken in by her when his parents abandoned him and he was putting all that cash in a bag to go and try to buy Tara's freedom.

This season finale sucked big time!!!! Oh my gosh, didn't even make me excited about next season or anything....and if LAFAYETTE my FAVORITE character on the whole show is dead, then the show is DEAD to me. No point in watching it, he was the funniest dude on the show.

Has anyone noticed when Sookie has been attacked she has always displayed some uncharacteristic physical strength.
The first attack was more obvious.
What is it about her? That was always more interesting than who did it.

Thoughts on future plot...

1. I'm convinced Bill didn't eat Lafayette. He'd have no reason to do so, and he knows Lafayette looked out for Sookie. Beyond that, I'm lost -- but if I had to put money on it, I'd say Jessica did it. Lafayette certainly had it coming from the vampire set because he was a V dealer. (And remember Eric mentioned vamps can "smell" when a human has wronged them.) Also Eric promised to show Jessica "how a real vampire feeds."

I think, though, there will be some link to the crooked senator, otherwise that storyline would be left hanging. I suspect there'll be some clandestine deal between the senator's camp and the regional vamp powers toward getting rid of mutual enemies and securing some sort of power hold over the parish.

2. I suspect Sam was Maryann's boytoy at one time, and that Maryann took Tara in retaliation for his disloyalty. He'll pay Maryann off, but things will get complicated because I think Tara will prefer her new lifestyle with Maryann... and a new fling with Eggs.

3. I bet Jessica has some link to those Fellowship of the Sun folk. And when they find out she's been changed, it's gonna be all out war on vamps... with Bill being the common scapegoat to both sides. And I bet the Sun folk try to get Jason's dumb butt to kill Bill.

As for this second time, you could say she had enough of Bill's blood -- and straight from the source -- that there are certain longterm effects: heightened senses, increased libido, an empathic link to Bill, etc. He mentioned that in Ep. 2. Strength could be another byproduct.

And to the extent you may have detected something (though I don't think Alan Ball is quite flirting with this part of Sookie's character yet)... there is something "special" about her in the books. It's what gives her telepathy. I won't say more, though.
