Summer Lynn Aviles Smith
Summer was born in Templeton in 1978 and passed away Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, in Templeton. She lived in the North County area all of her life and graduated from Paso Robles High School.

Her favorite thing to do was to be with the light of her life, her daughter, Charleigh Ann - they were inseparable. They loved reading books, watching movies and playing together.

Summer loved country western music, her favorite TV shows, her cat, Roxy, and most especially, being with her family. She loved children and was an "aunt" to many.

Everyone that knew Summer was touched with her special kindness, beauty and grace. She was quick to smile and always laughed. She had a warmth about her that made everyone she met feel good. Summer always had a good word to say about everyone and everything.

Summer was the face of Pasos Robles Pizza and Pasta Kitchen for many, many years where she worked side by side with her Uncle Gus, Aunt Linda and Cousin Dean Ayala.

She is survived by daughter, Charleigh Ann Smith; husband, Eric Smith; mother, Mary Becraft; father, Daniel Aviles; sister Lasondra Aviles; brothers Daniel Aviles Jr. and Jason Zuniga; nephews J.J. Zuniga and Ethan Zuniga; and grandmother, Teresa McCann Becraft.

She is also survivied by aunts Linda Ayala, Kathleen Rouse, Carmen Elissararras of Paso Robles, and Jean Aviles of Texas; uncles Gus, Max, Farrell Rouse of Paso Robles and Andrew and Mingo Aviles of Texas; cousins Dean Ayala, Theresa and Ryan Rouse, David, Zedina, Thomas, Jimmy Elissararras, and Marty and Sheila Elissararras of Paso Robles; and all the extended families. She was also very close to Tony and Ellen Torres and family of Templeton.

Summer will be greatly missed by her family and ALL of those that knew her. We Love you, Summer.

A service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008, at the Benedict-Rettey Funeral Home, 1401 Quintana Road in Morro Bay, with burial at the Atascadero Cemetery.
