I was just thinking of a fight I got in as a kid: I kept making fun of a new guy -- in church, no doubt -- whom I thought I could take if we went to blows. Well, eventually I did harrass him enough that he wanted to fight... and he cleaned my clock out in the church parking lot. (I had it coming.) My friends had to pull him off of me, and I had to clean myself up before my parents found out what happened. I planned on revenge the following week, but he immediately made up with me when he saw me coming. (As if he had anything to be afraid of!) I think we were about 10 years old.

Just curious: Who here has caught a memorable butt whipping sometime in their life? Care to tell the tale?

NOTE: I've started this generally in good humor as people often put themselves in stupid situations. But I'm aware some people have endured very trying episodes of abuse at no fault of their own. I mean no disrespect to you... and you're welcome to share your important stories as well.

I never gotton beat up but I've issued quite a few ass whoopings when I was a kid. I never started the fights, but I certainly finished them.

it wasn't a butt whipping, but when I was 8 we moved to a new city. some of the other guys my age who lived in the same apartment complex as me told me they found some playboy magazines behind the local gas station. I went with them to go see, and they pushed me around. I realize now it musta been some sort of initiation, but at the time, I was very upset about it. In middle school I was also teased and had racial slurs thrown at me because of my religion. I went to the vice principal and he said, "I can do something about it, but what would you learn from it? I think you should get tougher". That's left a life long mark in my soul.

never have been in a serious fight and always had friends and a brother to make sure no on tries to fight me.

I never initiated a fight, (except for with my sisters, of course )but I sure as hell defended myself whenever some fools tried to mess with me I was a quiet kid, but a couple of girls picked on me for a while. They quit it when they found that I go crazy if someone hits me I was a ruthless fighter

And 95% of the time, it was the females fighting

only by my brothers. anybody else who tried to fight me got their asses whupped

I never really did get picked on. Only twice but some bigger kids came and ended up beating up the kid that was trying to attack me.

only by my older brother when I was little, he said he was teaching me how to fight.

No but I came close to it in the 6th grade. Some gigantic eighth grader was about to kick my ass because she thought I was rude to her. Her friends talked her out of it, which was amazing.
I was really embarassed though because she chumped me down in front of a lot of other kids. It took a long time for me to live that down.

no. never initiated any fights but got picked on sometimes being the quiet timid little church girl. but when it came to blows, folks were shocked to find out how vicious i could be, i got left alone once folks saw me fight, i wasn't nothing nice.

oh yea, in 4th grade we were told we're having a new student from iraq. and sadly he was sat next to me.

Never been beat down, but in the only fight that I ever lost (arguably, depending on which spectator you talk to), after a back and forth classic, I took a sucker punch right above my eye....ended up with 5 stitches....

It was messed up because, by all accounts, the fight had ended pretty much in a draw...so, like a dumbass I dropped my guard and the other guy took advantage...granted, after that, I jumped on his back and started pounding his head into the ground...but by then, the "victor" had been declared since he drew first blood...

That was when I was 11...we ended up being pretty good friends until he was killed in a drive by years later....

well, I was bullied terribly at my school my a group of girl bullies. They made fun of me and harassed me and made my school life miserable because of my religion.

The one of the bullies (the worst one) tripped my younger brother down the stairs and he cut his head open and had to have stitches.

Well, putting God and all good thoughts behind I lost my temper sought her out and kicked her down four flights of stairs, bloodied her nose and gave her a belting black eye.

Left me and mine alone after that!!
