nod Odd, isn't it? They seem to push the holiday season earlier and earlier every year.

nod You're absolutely correct about that. I wonder if people will be spending as much as they usually do, with the current economic conditions and the stock market crashing.

I think that they believe that if they get it out earlier, then people will start there Christmas shopping earlier, and then they get more money faster.

wrapping paper all over the place

I seriously think that I have an addiction to wrapping paper. I already have more than enough, but when I see the new stuff out I feel the need to buy more. lol

The Toys R Us Biggest Toy Book came today in the Sunday paper. My son was so delighted. Half the book is marked with star stickers to tell me what he wants, and what he wants for his sisters.

This year I am so not ready for Christmas. Which is a sad and a first because I usually am really excited for Christmas.

My nephew had me sit with him,and go through it,and help him make a list of everything he wanted out of the Toys R Us catalog,I think I am going to need to win the lottery, and he is going to need a bigger bedroom. lol

Spending is already down. Can't make sure you can cover the necessities AND do a lot of holiday shopping.
