It's barely visible and it's definitely not gonna stick or make the ground white, but the first snow of the year is coming down.

Crazy!

very pretty pics but where do you live hmm - it looks very similar to my local landscape or rather it looks like Hertfordshire to me.

I got stuck in the snow coming home from London yesterday sad ... I had to stay the night in a hotel because I was getting a bit scared driving in the blizzard (background: around 5 years ago I got stuck on the A1 for FIVE hours when my car skidded on snow. Cars were skidding all around me and there was a huge queue of us in the end. I wasn't going to risk it this time)

No I live in Bucks, Princes Risborough to be precise, although if I remember correctly you live close to St. Albans which isn't that far away (promise I'm not a stalker but some things stick in the mind) lol

I only moved out this way 6 months ago, I was living in London but it's so much more peaceful out here..

ahh I know certain areas of Bucks, like Stoke Poges but have only heard of Princes Risborough.

I moved away from living near St Albans a little while ago - I'm now in Bedfordshire ... but well remembered! biggrin

I am surprised to see emm has got snow already? Is that forreal?

We had some sleet one day, and we keep on dipping below freezing then it is about 69 degrees outside today.

I remember trick-or-treating in the snow some years, but generally not.

It's 40 degrees. In February 40 degrees is positively heavenly. On this side of things, yeah, it's a bit chilly. lol

It's been low to mid 80's here in L.A. all week. Starting tomorrow it should cool down to the '70's. lol lol lol

Our worst blizzard since I've been alive was the Halloween blizzard of '91. (From http://en.wikipedia.org/w...n_Blizzard "The Twin Cities received 28.4 in (72.1 cm), setting a single storm record for the metropolitan area." ) Everyone who lives here has a story about it. I was stranded at a friend's house for a couple of days. So we CAN get snow that early, but it's pretty rare for us.
