Usually, the more money you pay for bottled water, the more likely it is to be pure. My bottled water costs too much but it's worth it.

I sure do. And I do have Brita jug at home, but it tastes nasty.
I believe most bottled water is a scam. plus I believe that water should not cost that much.

I grew up with bottled water and I still drink it here and there (Balance, Smart Water, Arrowhead, Deer Park, Poland Spring, etc.)

But ever since I started living on my own I was just, like, man, I'll just drink regular water and call it a day. It's not that serious for me.

But yeah, some people prefer it and to each his or her own.

I agree that bottled water should not cost as much as it does, but here on Long Island, we have the highest incidence of breast cancer in the nation. Our water comes from underground aquifers...and for most of our history we were farmlands, now replaced by manicured lawns and golf courses. Fertilizer, fertilizer, fertilizer.

Most of the time there is so much Chlorine in my drinking water, that it nearly fizzles.

Honestly I think drinking bottled water (or any small bottled drink) is really irresponsible. I crap on my friend for it all the time.

It's so much waste - even if you do "recycle".

Agreed. Just the amount of petroleum used to bottle and ship it. . . holy crap, it's insane.
