Me too, I HATE the way my voice sounds! I remember once, when I was a teenager, I was talking and my dad tape recorded it. When he played it back for me, I remember making the comment that I sounded like a "retarded girl". I'm sure that I probably don't sound that way, but that's how I felt when I heard my voice being played back.

I like my voice but it varies. It's usually kinda deep, but when I get excited it gets high. People say I have a nice voice so, I've done audio work for different companies for their call in systems and narrations on tons of computer based training programs. But after living in Texas for so long, I have to try hard not to say countryisms and to drop the Southern girl accent.
