I work in the wedding industry.

They're for research purposes.

They were a family heirloom and I can't bring myself to throw them out.

They're for medicinal reasons.

Ok, I perv over them. redface

Me either. lol

And for the vast majority of my life, I didn't want to get married. Getting married and having kids was never a goal of mine.

I changed my mind about 3 years ago. It's now something I want very much.

But I really don't think it will ever happen.

I was never the bridal magazine type of girl.

I did however buy two when I was engaged and had a little look through them. I'm glad I did because I found a picture of a dress I loved. I found a store here that stocked it and it was the first and only wedding dress I tried on. They only had one and it was my size and I knew it was the right one for me, there was no need to try any others.

Before I got engaged I never even thought about looking at a bridal magazine, it was never an obsession for me as a little girl however I am sure they are useful if you're looking for ideas. Below is my dress!

I had a friend so totally into the whole bridal thing, she knew every bridal store in the city, every detail. But I found it so funny that she herself, got married in a all black lace wedding dress. I loved her, she was so nuts.

Me personally, could care less especially at this point but I guess there was a time the whole phenomena intrigued me a little.

I use to get them when I was a teenager just to look at,and then I thought it was cool that I could send for free samples of invitations. Why I thought I needed them,I don't really know. Maybe I should have become a wedding planner. hmmm

I had to lol lol lol when I saw this thread. Yes i'm a culprit, I have a secret stash. I have it because...well because I dream of getting married to the right guy someday. And when that day comes, i won't have to spend so much time picking out the right dress, colors, who is going to be in my wedding, venues, etc. because I already have a general idea on those things already. Sure I'll share my vision with my fellow whom I've yet to meet, but my main focus is to have a great marriage, that is what is more important than a wedding anyways. So I have a secret stash just to be prepared and not to waste time. But here are my choices for a wedding dress that I have narrowed it down to, when the right time comes:

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

i have to admit something. when i was about 17 i was in the city for some reason or other. i found myself in a bridal store casually looking around and pretending i was engaged when the salesperson asked me. err but beyond that little episode i've not longed for all that hoopla let alone the dress.
