I do not use credit cards

When I use my debit card I always get the receipt

i take the reecipt and shred it receipt later. i am paranoid about identitiy theft, so i use only my credit card for purchases and use my debit card only for cash; i shred everything that has my name on it; i don't pay bills, manage bank accounts or portfolios online, ever

I don't spend enough on my credit card to have to check the receipts. And I don't use my debit card, I use cash. That way I know what Im spending.

So its the cash withdrawals on my bank statement I religiously check!

I use my check card and one credit card all the time. I have them throw the receipt in the bag so I have it to return something (I can't remember the last time I did, though) and I don't look at it again. I check my transactions on my bank account every couple of days and I'd know if something were off. I simply remember what I buy.
