What effect will it have on the GD forum?! Will things turn all soft and quiet in here?

So General discussion couldn't be used for music, politics, current affairs or religion? Aside from sporting talk GD would become pointless IMO.

I think the GD forum could get a little soft. Damn, we're all going to have to think a little before we post, that seems a little bit of an inconvenience. I like to try to think as little as possible when I post, especially when starting a thread.
