Here is my conclusion to all this:

the thread should be entitled:

"Why does ANYONE cheat, and why do MEN feel they are entitled to do it?"

Zombie confused .. you know there will be no resolution to that.. at all... there is no type of rational to even try to comprehend.... men neutral .. and now this joke I heard applies .. all women's problems begin with 'Men'... 'Men'strual cramps, 'Men'tal anxiety...'Men'opause, neutral .. like we just can't escape this 'Men' problem neutral (sorry to all the innocent guys) lol

My comment is not a solution, but had this thread had that title, it would have been about 4 pages shorter lol since we have argued this around in circles, and got totally off the point several times too nod

I'm sorry, that was not personally directed towards you.. it's that generalized notion of folks with 'but folks don't want the truth'.. and yes, (in red) I call that denial because they don't want to face what might be real.. they ignore it and lie to themselves and pretend they are happy (and some of them will even go as far as saying it's not even happening, when it is) .... if folks are comfortable living that way, so be it.... I'm not one of those folks... and also.. folks being adults, well yeah alot of hell comes from the drama.. the guilty party should just be man enough to deal with whatever comes (since they lit that match) the other party actting as an adult? well.. they should just get a shot gun and call it a day... lol I'm kidding.. kidding lol

Eve, Delihla, Mata Hari, PMS fallout, Expensive tastes and habits, and the overwhelming number of women who play to a man's ego, especially when they know he's not on the market... lol

Yes, you're taught to be faithful. You're bombarded with it as early as you can remember. Your parents tell you this. Your siblings tell you this. Your friends tell you this. Think about it, how come you were never bombarded with "Cheating is acceptable"? lol. Hell, the term "cheating" tells you you're "supposed" to be monogamous.

Also, you can't compare "love of child" with any of this, because THAT love is unconditional and natural.

But we are, mutha...we are. Don't you watch The Young & the Restless? lol

lol

As funny as that statement is, it is so freaking true. We are bombarded with how much fun cheating is, however subtle.

As one who had a doh! relationship moment, I think it's fair to characterize a case of "blind love" as a case of "dumb ass"!!

Ya know how I know? Because I've seen TONS of females LOSE IT once they get the truth. YOU know. The ORG knows it. So let's PLEASE stop acting like this shit is foreign. Please. We've seen tales in the media - dudes getting their dicks cut off - but you wanna say ALL WOMEN are cool with the truth. Yeah, right! lol

But again, you guys are talking about BEFORE he does it. This is about AFTER he does it. Yeah, see...different emotions then, huh? lol
I have a freind who told a chick the truth upfront and when she found out there was another woman, she still lost it. lol

That happened to me too. We talked about it, and then I *did* it, and he was all like, "damn, girl, I didn't know you were gonna get on it right away!" Honey, you think I ain't got a man or three waiting? How much notice do you NEED? Shoulda stated these conditions up front. disbelief

Men do not tell the truth for TWO reasons.

1. Drama and fights will commence.
2. She won't be monogamous either.

These factors play into the lying part. Some men are not cool with getting served up by another man because his ego couldn't handle it. Just as her ego can't handle him enjoying another woman more than her.
PREACH!!!! lol

I suck hella dick though. I don't worry about that being better with another woman. lol

nod I would be out... he wants to thrill seek, he surely doesn't love me and all the heartache is not worth it (life's too short for that) .... it would be adios and see ya wave .... he's not for me.. I'd have to re-evaluate why I loved him and realize I was wrong about him..

I just wanted to add also .. if I know he doesn't want anything serious, then it's all another ball game.. I'd know what he's about and I can't be upset... opposed to him trying to be apart of something he knows he doesn't want and lying about it...

Where do you people get this stuff? Cheating happens and yes it is a bad thing. It doesn't make the cheater or cheatee some horrible person without morals. And no one is in any place to tell anyone else whether they are going to hell or not.

Talking moral code on a website of a man that cheated on both of his wives. talk to the hand

i'm curious about this up front stuff, and how it's really suppose to work. many years ago, when i was young and the world was my oyster, i was in an "agreement" with my man, come to find out long after the relationship was over, dude still lied, and still was sneaky with his, which means cheating in my book. so that translates to me that a sneaky mofo is just a sneaky mofo regardless how flexible, willing and understanding the partner is. there'd have to be a whole lot of benefits in a relationship for exclusiveness not to be part of the package for me at this point.
