MEN: a question What signals do you prefer to get from a woman that let you know clearly she likes you as a friend, and nothing more?

don't fuck them. You CANNOT use the name of God, or religion, to justify acts of violence, to hurt, to hate, to discriminate- Madonna

I need to know this one too, by tomorrow thanks!
Here in Australia I've noticed men calling me "mate" a lot, to specifically signify that there is nothing more to it. Sometimes a little too vehemently, making me sure they LIKE like me, but putting some distance in there, which is awkward and weird

I'm not a man , but I think it's best to just tell them. In my experience, sometimes men do not pick up the signals. I had one friend that was after me for years and he never got the hint that I wasn't interested. Finally, I grew some balls and told him that I just wanna be friends and nothing more. He was upset, but it's better than dragging him along. I'm terrible at this kinda thing 'cause I never wanna hurt anyone's feelings

but please could a guy tell me also, all the things I need to avoid:
(this guy I went to high school with is dropping off a CD tomorrow at lunchtime, and I know he still LIKES me and I'm pretty shy, but friendly, and laugh too much when I'm nervous. Which probably all comes across as totally flirting ) Should I be yawning and looking at my watch a lot?

'nuff said... we'd just be friends! i tried to scare off a guy by telling him i was really into bisexual guys, and over the course of the night he went from saying 'guys lose their manhood when they do that' to 'c'mon, we could find a guy together, i'm all for new experiences!'
