Never use it. The fluoride will kill ya. I only use baking soda. It's the best at whitening naturally, and it makes your breath smell fresh.

yeah, we have it, but I don't drink much tap water. And personally, I'd rather brush my teeth with fluoride than drink it!

But sometimes I wonder if any of this avoiding of chemicals makes any difference when we live in cities, drive on freeways, etc.
hmmm

stopped using colgate total after i learned there is an antibacterial (triclosan) in it. I refuse to have antibacterials all over the damn place. I don't need it in my hand soap, i don't need it in my dish soap and i sure as hell don't need to put it in my mouth. We're going to create more superbugs at this rate.

now i use crest (but not crest pro health... that shit has triclosan too confused )

(shocked after checking the internet at how many products on the market actually contain the stuff!)

I use that too, but I want one that's not minty and burns my tongue.

As for me, I use Colgate Total Plus Whitening at the moment, along with this Thai toothpaste with salt in it. I use half and half. After that I rinse with Listerine before I go out.

That's what I use. The only thing I don't like about it is that it leaves an orange residue in my sink if I don't rinse it really well.

I agree.... because they are finding now that all those trace amount of toxins do add up.... oh BTW there is fluoride in bottled water... because tap water usually is in bottled water. lol when I found that out I was like WTH? what a racket! I read this story in the paper about a dentist who does cosmetic dentistry, you know, smile make-over. He says a girl came in and wanted whitening treatment. All her friends were doing it. He held up the little tooth colour swatch thingie, and she already had the whitest shade there was. She was just so pale she couldn't tell.
