Tea or Coffee? For a while, I was drinking tea in the mornings. I'd say for about 4 or 5 months. I had a lot of energy during my day and I was sleeping better.
But lately, I have been drinking coffee in the mornings and I just feel dead tired by late afternoon and I can't seem to sleep at night. Does either really affect your sleeping patterns? Any nutritionists out there?

I prefer tea. I like regular and chinese tea, not the shitty herbal stuff. Ohh purple joy oh purple bliss oh purple rapture! REAL MUSIC by REAL MUSICIANS - Prince "I kind of wish there was a reason for Prince to make the site crash more" ~~ Ben |

When I first started working in a coffee shop a few years back, I went from hating coffee to being addicted to it in a matter of weeks. At first it was impossible for me to sleep at night (cause I'd work closing shifts) and I had to have a 20 oz. coffee just to make it through my 8:30 class the next morning but over time, my body got used to the caffine (and I cut back on it) and it doesn't bother me Coffee has more caffine than tea, so maybe you should drinnk less, or try half-cafinated If you will, so will I

I googled "which is better tea or coffee"
These sites were on the top.... http://ezinearticles.com/...&id=107983 http://www.vistage.com/fe...r-you.html These compares green tea to coffee. http://abcnews.go.com/GMA...id=2123324 This one compares green tea, white tea, and coffee. In all of these, there is meantion of coffee preventing Parkinson's disease, and preventing type two diabetes. I'm not going to get into tea too much because there are many different types of teas, and they all do something different for the body. For example: Green tea and ginsing tea can both be used for energy, but mint tea and chamomile tea are good for relaxing. You could make your own tea even. A lot of people make different herbal concoctions that have many health benefits ranging from immunity boost (I like echinacea) to even aphrodesiacs. I usually begin the day with a cup of echinacea tea. At night, I usually drink chamomile tea (especially during that time of the month. Chamomile tea is good for when you want to chill. It soothes the nerves, and has evidence of also boosting immunity). My favorite teas are: Oolong, chamomile, apple/chamomile, white tea, jasmine, and echinacea. I go to the Oriental market in town to try different types of teas. I don't like brown rice and green tea. That's...kinda gross. Green tea's ok, but I have to drink it weak because it's unpleasantly bitter to me. I drink coffee seldomly. My family drinks percolated coffee like it's a religion. I don't care too much for it, and usually tone down the bitterness with half a cup of milk and a lot of sugar. Because of the large amt of sugar required to tone down the bitternes, I flat out converted to tea, Let's have a little fun....

I see them pump about 5 squirts of that shit then it doesnt taste like coffee anymore. one squirt tops, thats it.

Hate coffee- can't stand the aftertaste. I love tea.... had 2 switch 2 decaf, tho, because I started having binding headaches on the weekends. I'm a big iced tea kick right now. "Love Hurts. I like both... but I lean more towards coffee. I've calmed down tons on drinking coffee, I haven't had any now since August and I couldn't drink it at night, makes me hyper, I'd have sleeping problems

I'm super caffeine sensitive, so no matter what it is, I can't have any after 10am if I don't want it to affect my falling asleep at a normal time at night.
Most mornings I drink tea, I have expresso maybe once a week. |
