Best SCI-FI movie of the 90's Well might as well do the 90's (and no I'm not picking Alien 3) My choice Star Trek first contact (love the Borg). What are your favorites????

The Matrix Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

Gattica was good as well. I saw The Fifth Element for the first time on TV a few weeks ago and didn't like it at all. I'd heard such good things about it, but was disappointed.

Gotta go with this one. Me too. Great story and the "bullet time" technique was groundbreaking.

Easily "The Matrix" Though Dark City was pretty good!
I'll also put in "The Fifth Element" on Ocean's behalf!

Gattica was good as well. i think the fifth velomint is my favorite sci fi movie of the 90s, for much the same reason as blade runner is my favorite sci fi movie of the 80s. both movies remind me of what i'd like the future to look like. i feel like i'm in a very possible future when i watch those movies, even though they're both totally over the top and hyperstylized. the fantasy of the costumes, set designs, etc., completely draws me in. as for the story and the acting? meh. but i'm certainly not going to watch a movie with bruce willis and expect to be blown away by any amazing thespianic chops.

That's not really science fiction, is it? More like "pre-historic fiction". FREE THE 29 MAY 1993 COME CONFIGURATION!

Somehow I missed this one.
Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country This would have been better if they could have gotten Kirstie Alley to reprise her role of Saavik instead of inventing the role of Valeris for Kim Cattrall, but it stands up pretty good nonetheless. This is my second most favorite Trek movie. Honorable mentions to Star Trek First Contact, and for humor's sake Galaxy Quest.
