The true Aldi is European origin, isn't it?
We've got one here, but it's too far to go.

We've got one here, but it's too far to go. It isn't worth the gas. Trust me. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

My parents did all their shopping in Aldis when they were touring around Germany in their campervan in August. They said it was even cheaper there than it is here, and here things are heaps cheaper than in Germany usually. The "brands" they carry are like the generic brands in ordinary supermarkets. Companies manufacture and sell some to Aldi on contract, packaged in Aldi packs. We have an excellent pie manufacturer here, Patties (the factory is in the town I grew up in) famous in Australia. My best friend's brother works there, and their biggest contract is supplying to Aldi. I've tried them, they are the same pies, in a different box.

If you are having a birthday party, it is THE place to stock up on chips and sodas. I could do a kids party for 15 kids with $60. I WOULDN'T buy meat or vegies there (for the same reason I don't get them in a supermarket - their profit mark-ups disgust me

In the winter, they're almost unaffordable, and to top it off, not good either
