In general? Loved. I can't imagine why anyone would fear me. I'd much prefer they respect me, and fear is not necessary for that.

As a Soldier...a Master Sergeant to be (got selected for promotion in September...) I've found that if you're loved (too much) as a leader, there are some who will take your kindness for weakness, which if left unchecked will undermine your whole program....so for me, I'd rather be feared...loathed.....despised....because at the end of the day, my mission gets accomplished
