So I go to the grocery store this afternoon and.... I get all the way home, open the back door of the car and realize
the damn groceries are still at the store What silly/dumb little things have you done lately?

I haven't gone that far, but the other day I did buy something from the store. Then I proceeded to go to the car without my purchase. Thankfully the cashier came running after me. I will think of more dumb things for sure. I do at least one daily.

I tried to play good big sister Thursday.
After I ran my errands, I decided to go pick my brother up from school and take him out to eat. Im standing outside for 15 mins before realizing ...there was no school cuz of Yom Kippur. i felt so stupid

But today there were more bags than usual, so they gave me a number to pick them up....I put the number in the passenger's seat so I wouldn't forget, but guess what? What made me so angry is that I was all the way home before I realized it

I drove back right away and went to the pick-up area.... the guy that put them in my car had a good chuckle, but he made me feel better when he told me how often this kind of thing happens

the damn groceries are still at the store What silly/dumb little things have you done lately? This happened to my mom and I 10 years ago at Target. We left the whole cart of purchases in the parking lot, drove home and then realized we had left them. We called thestore and of course someone had taken them. It was in the winter, we were distracted, needlesstosay.

Not to make light of your situation, but I feel better just knowing that two of you forgot lol It's hard to imagine that a full cart would still be sitting out in the parking lot however...let's just hope it all went to a homeless person, rather than some dude that could afford to pay for it himself. I did leave my purse in a shopping cart at a grocery once years ago, and some nice person brought it into customer service, so there are definitely good samaritans around.

My mom and I still laugh about that. We forgot what we were talking about that caused us to be so distracted.

What made me so angry is that I was all the way home before I realized it that grocery store sounds too complex for me I though you had to carry out your own bags It's one of those hoidie doidie kinda stores They don't allow you to take the grocery cart out to your car, so you either carry 'em by hand or you pick-up One day I bought a huge plant there...too big to really hand-carry very far...but they couldn't put it on the belt that moves it outdoors to the pick-up, and they of course don't allow carts to go out of the store....I practically had to leave them my purse to be able to take a cart to my car...the bagger said to me, "only if you bring it back inside when you're done" I woulda walked out and left it, but I had already paid for it
