Thank you all for your posts and comments. If I can just get my son situated with school or a residential placement, I will consider myself a happy person for the first time in my life. Apparently, people in my state are perfectly okay with him beating the daylights out of me or they would have helped me with him when I first started asking years ago. The last time he hit me, I thought for sure he would kill me. When he punched me, I held my hands over my head because I couldn't get away from him in time so I let him hit me until he got tired. This is my life. And in spite of it, giving up it no longer an option.

I love you guys. I can be a total bitch here to some of you and I apologize. I was in a very dark place for a long time but I didn't let it beat me. Don't let it beat you.

I want to give many, many props to my boss because if I had been working for anyone else, I would have been fired by now. My life is hell sometimes but I am still so grateful for every little thing. Thank you Org.
