and as i've gathered and digested all of their albums...i've grown uber-jealous of you and my brother and your class...considering the year and music scene at the time, i KNOW the intruduction of de la must have been indescribable...it's just like with prince...i have to vicariously experience what it must've been like for this to have been "the new shit"


but back to the honors show... was real worried that they wouldnt do de la justice, but they didnt do too bad...(i do realize once you know someone's entire cataloge it's hard to agree with something a commitee of execs settle on tho)...Mos, PE, and EPMD were a good choice, but i wish De la would've been allowed to do a song from Grind date/Impossible Mission/ or even something they're working on for AOI:3 ...but i know this game too well, and it only makes sense they'd end up performing the only song people give them credit for

p.s=> did you notice they flipped the begining and said "..is it just my dela clothes? or is it cuz we hate this song?.."

it had a photocopy of a skull & crossbones on yellow paper and a clear cassette, that's all... cost me $15... I still have the cover somewhere but the cassette itself got stolen...
