I once took a lift with a girl who commuted 2 hours each way. We sat on the freeway for over an hour, like in a carpark, it was HORRIBLE  I'd go crazy if I had to sit through that. I remember watching an old episode of L.A. Law after the two characters from NY's Civil Wars joined the cast and Debi Mazar's character was so freaked out by L.A.'s parking lot traffic that she got out of the car in the middle of the freeway and walked away.
