james marsden in hairspray So I rewatched the newer movie version of Hairspray tonight, and I couldn't take my eyes off Corny. I don't normally give two thoughts to James Marsden's looks, but as Corny? All I can say is damn! He makes that early '60's square thing work, and puts that 10 year old-looking Zac Efron to shame!

It's good and fun and shiny as a musical that touches on social equality in a fairly lighthearted way. But if you're a fan of the original it's best to just ignore they're supposed to tell the same story. But if you're a fan of the original it's best to just ignore they're supposed to tell the same story. I love the original and I love John Waters, so I didn't really wwant to see it all cleaned up and overproduced. Besides, the new one wasn't filmed here in Baltimore  If you will, so will I | |

I love the original and I love John Waters, so I didn't really wwant to see it all cleaned up and overproduced. Besides, the new one wasn't filmed here in Baltimore I love both versions, but as far as I'm concerned they're not the same thing at all. I can't believe he's playing Piccolo. I'd probably be excited about that if I like Dragonball. I'm eagerly waiting for Dragonball to come out. I check for trailers every week or two, lol. so far nothing though, just a couple pictures. I think he'll make a pretty great Piccolo though.
