Was my 20th high school reunion worth the 8 hour round trip? It was a long way to catch up with folks I didn't particularly like back then

I went VERY casually dressed in hoodie and jeans (the venue was just a pub ), but the girls were in sequins

(or maybe I'm not invited) it was just my friend who organised a meet-up at the pub, it was not a formal event and yes, they probably just don't invite you, seeing as you live on the other side of the world

Aww...you know, this year was my 20th H.S. graduation anniversary as well...but no one from my good-for-nothing school bothered to put together a reunion.
whatever. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

I suppose going up the local pub every 2 years when I'm back in the UK is a reunion of sorts.

It's only worth it if you can forgive those you did not like, you're better off than them and you make a solid lasting impression.

Since 75% still live in that small town, I can totally see how fantastic their lives must be, still living in each others pockets!
