I go to the movies by myself, I go shopping by myself, and I go walking in the park by myself. Today (i was so proud of myself  ) I went to a Folk Festival by myself that was being held in my city. It was so fun and theraputic for me. I didn't have to worry about somebody saying it was too hot outside and was ready to go before I was ready. I ate some food from this African cuisine restaurant who had a tent set up selling food that they offer in their restaurant here in my city. I hadn't tasted it before and it was so delicious! I have to go visit their restaurant the next chance I get. They also had food from Greek, Authenic Italian, Authenic Mexican, Indian, Thai, and Meditteranean Restaurants. There was live music set up by different culture groups and also a lot of displays showcasing different cultures' practices and traditions. The go-go group EU was there too! It was so nice learning about different cultures.
I say that i'm proud of myself for actually following through and going because usually i'll make plans to hang out with myself, and most likely I end up at home on the couch with a glass of wine, and feeling sad about being single. But today was such a great day. I have another outing planned for myself on Thursday night at a museum, so because I actually followed through today, it is motivating me to follow through on Thursday night too. I'm finally on my way to happiness!!! So what do you do by urself to have fun? [Edited 10/12/08 16:53pm] Make my fantasy come true. Aww i want a taste of your love gurl aww! 
I would have love to been there just to see EU sing that. Don't laugh at my funk

Did EU perform Da Butt and Buckwild as well. Taste of your love was my favorite. It had that ohio players flavor to it. Glad you enjoyed it and for free. i love doing just about anything by my lonesome. it's become more of a treat these days than it used to be, because it's a rare occasion when i get to just hang out by myself and make a day of it. | |

Good for you! I think it's a shame when people can't/are afraid to spend time alone.
I do nearly everything alone. I spend plenty of time with friends, sure, but most often I'm by myself. |

I'm pretty self-contained - I enjoy the company of family and friends but I'm cool with my own company - thankfully so, as I live alone. . Taking holidays is a problem though - I have close friends I used to travel the globe with but they've all got married and started families in the last 2 years. Traveling alone is OK - daytime stuff is good but I do feel awkward in the evening/night time.
Last year I traveled alone around Asia - to fill the time I kept moving about, so I hit 7 countries in 24 days. Unfortunately that involved 11 flights. My carbon footprint was some where between yeti and dinosaur. | |

Diablo just always seemed to get pushed to the side. And with Starcraft II coming out soon, I probably will put Diablo on the side yet again. | |
