throwing a grown n sexy halloween party

Any ideas for entertainment?

I have my rocky horror, garfield, great pumkin ready. This is a mostly Urban crowd, so I have my Michael Jackson Thriller ready, but what else?

What would you do? This is my first house party in forever so give me some ideas, folks!

excited damn congratulations!!! I've always wanted to throw a halloween party for adults....Halloween is so exciting, all the scary movies you want to see come on 24/7 for free!

Okay, as far as ideas go...I assume you want everyone coming in a Halloween costume right? Okay so are you going to clear the living room furniture for dance space? If not, you probably should...dancing is always a great way to get the party started right. Have some bowls of candy spread around the house, and also have either a Halloween cake, cupcakes or Halloween cookies.

Are you going to decorate your house with fake cobwebs and stuff, or have an electronic Halloween sounds machine at your front door so that whenever someone enters or exits, everybody will hear a sinister laugh or a woman screaming.

You can have a OUJEE board on a table or some tarrow cards out for fun.

Hope this helps...
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I don't know if you will be serving alcohol or not, but my suggestion would be to spike it with some Bacardi, lol!

You really have me excited about this party and i'm not even attending!! lol
One year I will be having me a Halloween party too. My plans for this Halloween will probably be giving candy out to the trick or treaters and then going to see Saw V at the movies later that night. Halloween just isn't Halloween without seeing a horror movie that night, even if it is a dumb horror movie. Please be sure to org note me and let me know how your party went. I would love to hear the details.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Kick people out if they show up without a costume. I'm serious. There's little lamer than a Halloween party when folks just show up in their regular gear.

This Halloween, I'm hosting a Passion Party for ladies only and I'm having a male stripper as entertainment.

But since your party is coed these suggestions sound pretty good. I've never been into Halloween so I wouldn't know where to start if hosting a for real costume party. But have fun, hun!

if you think about it, its an excellent idea. biggrin

Everyone saves money cause they dont need to wear anything, more money for the Old Style beer fund.
You get the scariness of all that exposed sagging flesh hanging in place it shouldn't hang.
And what could be more memorable than seeing the pimples on your neighbors ass and the hair on her husbands back not to mention other things, entertainment that will reward you over and over again..
It will be a smashing success.

My friends have hosted our annual Halloween party for years. Some things they have done:

--have a photo booth/area a la 'prom'. They bought a plastic door decoration and hung it from a wall then had their digital camera on tripod for guests to go in and ham it up.

--have a contest for the best costumes, decided by vote of the other guests. Categories: best use of current event, best female, best male, best couple, most desperate to get laid (male/female), etc. Give out little prizes.

--have a theme. Last year the friends (who live in Queens) had a Hallo-Queen party and guest were supposed to do a queen-themed costume. There was a Dairy Queen (cow w/tiara), Freddy Mercury, queens of the Stone Age, etc. I didn't really like the idea; I felt it was kind of restricting (although I won the award for most Queen's themed costume: I went as the Queensborough President. I thought my costume was totally lame, I chose it b/c I didn't have time or energy to be creative.)
