But, do you know the difference between a "trekkie" and a "trekker"? A Trekkie is an old school fan who mainly likes the original series, and the movies with the original cast. A Trekker likes the newer stuff. At least I think that's what it means Facebook, I haz it - https://www.facebook.com/Nikster1969

Why is it that whenever someone dresses up as Data they paint themselves silver or gold? That motherfucker wasn't metallic! "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

Me too, I just got the 3rd season of the original series to complete my set, I have distinct episodes that I love, If they have the star trek marathon on sci-fi channel I'm in for the whole day, I went to a star trek exhibit at the NY natural history museum 15 years ago and I went to the Christie's auction exhibit and teared up when I saw a replica of the original set and got to touch some of the original costumes. By the way, ufoclub, I'm jealous of that picture with Leonard Nimoy. However, I don't want to go to a Star Trek convention, learn Klingon or dress up like Uhura. What am I considered?

I use to think I was a trekkie til I really met some. Now all I can say is that I really like Star Trek, all of them. Maybe I can claim trekker.
