A question for Non-American Orgers....... Does your country use a number similar to our U.S. Social Security number that you use to apply for loans and credit?
and Is identity theft a huge problem in your country? I was just wondering if there were an easier system for applying for loans and protecting your identity at the same time. In the US you have to give out your SS for almost everything you do. [Edited 10/8/08 10:45am] [Edited 10/8/08 10:47am]

Do you guys have a social retirement fund? If so explain briefly how your system works. How old do you have to be to retire, etc? [Edited 10/8/08 10:48am]

We've got Social Insurance Numbers. Identity theft happens but it's not as widespread as people think, at least according to this cop I know. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"
