You need to flip the scrip man, every year you get older is a new lease on making those accomplishments happen.

The past remains just that, the past. No point in dwelling on things you can no longer change.

Press on and make shit happen for you! Celebrate your hope and your ability to move on. Get out there and DO!

You're not alone, Gimme. And you look about 22, bro. I look nearly 30. But I'm slowly getting over that, I guess. I'm afraid that looking as mildly put-together and attractive will run its course by the time I hit the age of 25. But, what can you do? I don't see you failing in life. But then again, I'm not your maker. sigh What the hell am I talking about? neutral

Statuesqque

I think in some large part it's a state of mind. Yes, we're all going to get old but if you think, act or keep saying, oh, I'm or or my old whatever then you will be. I know people in there 60s but to look at them and as active as they are you'd never guess they were. IMO

I do worry about my age...all the damn time!!! But you are as young as you think you are. Always remember age is only a number..it doesn't define who you are. If you think young..you will be young...but if you worry to much about getting old...it will start showing in how you act and look.

Remember...you are NEVER to old to try new things...so if you want to do something..get off your bootie and do it!!! I am 37 and for the first time in my life I am doing something I have always wanted. All for me, not for my kids...or my parents for me!!! So don't let some silly number hold you back!!!

Instead of wasting time worrying, how about you put that energy into accomplishing things?

Its true that you are as young as you feel, but that dosent change the way society is built up, you have your time for fun in your teens and chance too create music or art etc.
You dont have time for that as much when you have a work too go too.

Now you have just shown me you are young...because it's the young that worries about what other's think...SOCIETY...do what you love...don't let others around you, stop you from doing it.

I just read your other post...and I am going to tell you something...I know a woman who decided to become an archeologist at the age of 50, and now she teaches at the University of Colorado. Does that make her less of an archeologist who is lets say in their 30's? NO!!! So stop watching the clock my friend, stop being afraid, or you will end up old, and looking back and saying...crap...I should have enjoyed life while I could.

I'm 35 and I'm starting school again and will have a new career in a few years. Don't worry so much about it. Enjoy life!
