if I remember correctly they use to sell pasta when they first opened. hmmm

Yeah, they did. I remember getting something they called cavatini (sp?) there when I was a kid. I remember it being a casserole kinda thing, with wagon wheel shaped pasta.

It seems like every 10 years or so, they try doing pasta dishes for a while, then they stop.

we go even deeper in the well of depravity when we want convenient pizza. we keep several frozen party pizzas on hand, just in case we get a craving and can't be bothered to get dressed or call for delivery (hey, those calls can burn up a lot of energy).

We don't have an oven. neutral

Frozen pizzas are better quality than Pizza Hut anyway. Certainly in the UK a pizza from Tesco or Sainsbury is, if you don't get the 'Value' line, and if you go for the 'Finest' range or whatever it's called it'll beat a chain restaurant every time.

Oh, about that well of depravity. Yours cannot possibly go as low as the Thai local wet market pizza. When it comes to snacks, meat on sticks, grilled squid, even chicken and fries, sure... but pizza? How are you going to do that when a Thai person is only willing to fork out 75 cents? You use mayonnaise instead of cheese, of course!

Seriously, imagine a piece of dough. Now smooth over a McDonalds sachet of ketchup, now tinned corn sprinkled on top, some slices/tiny balls of mystery meat and then cover in yellow mayonnaise. Yum! lol

yum is not the word drooling invite me over for pizza pls fauxie yay!

I haven't eaten pizza hut in YEARS. And I won't. It's positively disgusting here, I don't know if the quality is different in the UK.

I am very, very picky about pizza and I've not had a pizza chain yet I will actually like.

I'm not really even a fan of pizza. lol

And yeah, the pasta that's being advertised in the US looks nasty!

You´re right, as bad as the reputation for UK food is, the frozen pizzas are really great ! Especially that one English brand that pretends to be Italian, it´s called Frescetta and tastes superb.
The only bad thing about it seems to be the price....it costs almost twice as much at Sainsbury than it does over here, in Germany. Funny that an imported product from England can sometimes be much more expensive in its country of origin.

Everything at Pizza Hut tastes bland and is too greasy or supersoft with a spongelike texture.

I had friends explain to me from Thailand cheese is a luxury, isn't it? When her friends come to vist her here in Europe they think she's mega rich because she can walk into any market and come home with any time of French, Italian, Swiss, Spanish, any variety in good quality.

I like anchovies - in fact, I like anything except mushrooms. And fruit - which has absolutely no place on a pizza IMO. disbelief

Of course, I almost never get anchovies on a pizza because my sweetie hates them. pout

So you're one of the anchovy people lol

Ask for them on just half the pizza...we do that quite often with ingredients.

I don't do anchovies myself, but I like just a nice mix of veggies....
brocolli, lots of red onion, tomato, and yes, mushrooms...once in a while
if I'm in a meat mood, I like a few pepperonis (notice I said a few, cuz
sometimes places overload on these, same with sausage).

If I do a seafood, it's either shrimp or crab cool

I'm not really certain how far the chain extends....
it's more of a midwestern thing...

Anyway, I much prefer theirs over Pizza Hut...in fact I won't go there.

Yup, I know another pizza snob lol
