Mullet: Hairstyle Of The Gods

~~~
New Age Mullet: In high school, he was into
Dungeons and Dragons and The Hobbit. Now, he plays
acoustic guitar at coffeehouses and talks about spirituality.
Business In The Front, Party Out Back Mullet: Is he
a career man or a party animal? He likes to keep his
options open. He's not really taken seriously
on the job because he refuses to conform. This breed of
mull rarely advances past the level of customer service rep.
Krokus Mullet: The perfect compliment to spandex and
Converse All Stars.
Oompa Loompa Mullet: This rare orange-faced mullet
is in season from May through September and is native to
Indiana. When not working construction, the Oompa Loompa
can be found appearing in John Cougar Mellencamp look-alike contests.
Practimullet: As attractive as it is practical,
the fluffy rear plumage distracts the eye from his
bulbous forehead. Great for wintry Michigan nights filled with
hot cocoa and Air Supply.
Euromullet: Characterized by a shaggier,
more toussled look, the Euromullet is more cultured
than the U.S. mulls. The Euromullet's look says,
"I am too busy with my art to bother cutting my hair!"
Check out the gauzy, unbuttoned shirt and gold chain...Mmmm!
Groomullet: The Chicken Dance, Electric Slide
and the Macarena -- bring it on! Too bad this hottie
is taken now. Some lucky girl will have to clean his
greasy hair out of the shower drain until they
divorce four months from now. Have a piece of
pound cake for me, dude. Congrats!
Mullennium: A mullet like this comes around once
in a millennium. Nothing more needs to be said about
this Samson, because mere words don't do it justice.
I was forced to go to the Monster Truck thing at the Silver Dome a few years ago and not only was it the most horrible experience of my life, but the place was infested with mullets!
Now I no what Beck was going on about when he sang "Devils Haircut".
I mean...they are fucking criminal arent they!?
Thing is tho, EVERYONE had a mullet during the 80's. I was a toddler during alot of the 80's and I had 1 even then...in fact I think I was born with 1.
I went to a monster truck rally(which was surprisingly more boring than ridiculous) this past summer with my sister's family and we did a mullet count and then a long hair/bandana/hat backwards count(a la Axl Rose circa 1987). Too funny! lol
It is completely boring! Yeah... the Axl Rose types... there were a lot of those as well! Watching the people in attendance was more enjoyable than those stupid monster trucks.
To add to the humiliation, my kids' grandfather and his wife always have to wear matching shirts everywhere they go... so, that was nice. evil
I admit to you all that I had a Euromullet until 1989 when I cut my hair short.
Everybody had them then. OK, I was drunk. Leave me alone. evil
"This is Quani, he is widely believed to be the father of the Mullet, he is revered throughout the world."
lol Nothing like pulling two no-no's into one: the mustache and mullet look. Sounds like a western: "Mustache and the Mullet" -starring Burt Reynolds and Mel Gibson.
Actually...
The mullet is making a comeback in a trendy way ala the faux mohawk (you know, the one where you don't actually shave your head, just have the longer bit down the middle of your head you can comb down or style up). It's true! The "new mullet" is more punk than country. If only I had a picture...
Did you see any 'shemullets' or 'femullets'?
I think it was the preferred haircut of all 70s female tennis pros...
Ugh... yes, there were a lot of those there, as well. The majority of these people dressed in cigarette t-shirts.
Sort of like where I grew up... to fit in you must wear the proper attire, which was exactly that, jeans with numerous holes in them and cigarette or beer t-shirt. I am sooo glad I moved! I will admit to wearing those, but it was only when I was cleaning.
My Birthday Mullet
in the beginning I was a graduate school type with a seventies shag going on.
my birthday was approaching and i decided to go for some monster truck action. "you can buy the whole seat but you'll only need the edge, edge, edge..." i've always beenquick to point out my midwestern roots and was feeling the need to get back to them.
i asked myself, "how can you go to monster trucks without going in costume, costume, costume..."
well you can't. so i didn't. i decided to put the wahl home haircutting kit to work and with a little help from my girl jess i think it turned out pretty nice.
toss a couple back before the show...
hang out at autograph table after show.
and what would be monster trucks without a fire breathing/car crushing robot?
one last thing. of course all the ladies love the mullet!
i also went to the bar that night and here's a good action shot of me in the middle of the "shake"(which is a move that's impossible to resist when you're sporting the business in the front, party in the back.)
woke up next morning put the wahl kit back to work again and ended the fun. very said...
My favorite part is this: "...sporting the business in the front, party in the back." LOL lol
Perhaps I should grow a mullet, ditch the Miata, and replace it with a 1984 Camaro.
