No John Carpenter list would be complete without Escape From New York.
His films all have that eerie feeling of "you can run, but you won't be safe there either"

Where's Halloween? You gotta love Michael.
Halloween, Big Trouble, The Fog, The Thing, Christine are the ones I own. His movie In the Mouth of Madness was really good too. I haven't seen all of his movies. "Cigarette Burns", his contribution to the Masters of Horror series was ok.....a little like a watered down version of In the Mouth of Madness. He did some sci-fi movies from the early 60's that I'm trying to find & check out.....one of them is vs Godzilla movie. I don't even know if they're still in print. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

I forgot to mention Starman! I always forget that's his, because it's not scary or really suspenseful.
