Who is to blame?

There seems to be a lot of hooing and howin about the state of the world today. Republicans blaming Democrates,
Christians blaming atheists, Blacks blaming Whites, Whites blaming Blacks, etc. I would just like opinions -- not trying to start a debate or flame war -- just opinions.

the blame falls with each and every one of us.
we must begin the changes FIRST with ourselves
then attempt to make things better for those around us...

Assigning blame to individuals gets us nowhere. Either nobody is to blame or we all are. (IMO)

Ignorance itself is to blame, and all racial, social, religious, and political groups contain ignorant individuals.

End.

So true...if we can't see what needs to be changed within ourselves, and then make those changes, we have no grounds on which to institute change anywhere else...thankfully, life provides ample opportunities for us to see the things within ourselves that need to change...I'm experiencing it everyday lately...heart

i find that when we need to see whut is wrong in ourselves
all we need do is look at whut we would point out in others as FAULTS.

How about choices and consequenses? You prefer this?
who should pay for the consequenses of one's actions, or should there be no consequence for one's actions?

So how does one get un-ignorant?

i say the one who is doing the action is the one who should pay for the consequenses of said action...

however, there is no way that you can place the blame on any one person or group for the state of the world today... that is just far too large of a scenerio...

i suppose you really have to blame every single person living in the world today, because we all have influence on it's state in some way... almost every decision a person makes has some influence on another person's life (for better or worse) and that person on someone else's... therefore, we all have some responsibilty for the state of the world...

I just mean to say that ideas are the engine of history.

Pre-hitler Germany, for example, was led by a bunch of philosophers who claimed that the individual was nothing and that the group was everything...it trickled into the media and schools and ugh...
