Red Delicious and Honeycrisp, mostly. I've never been one for the more tart varieties.
As a sidenote, recently I had for the first time an 'apple pear' (which isn't truly an apple, but an Asian pear). Very juicy and crunchy.  | |

The Red Delicious apple. It's crunchy, juicy, and sweet. I don't like soft apples, or apples that are overly tart. My mom and I drove out to an apple picking place again this year, and picked our own apples. I told myself before going out there that I would not pick as many Red Delicious apples as I did last year. But I wound up getting almost as many (almost a whole big bag full!)  There is something about picking apples that is so fun, that I can't stop myself once I start. I jokingly told my mom that I think I'm obssessed with apples. Now I have a big bag of apples to eat. I probably will wind up making apple sauce, like I did last year, to eat up the apples so that they do not spoil.
