Ellen Page was in X-MEN 3???

I clearly thought X3 was so bad when I saw it that I blocked any and all memories about it. lol

I only JUST realized in the past five minutes that Ellen Page (Juno) was cast as Kitty Pryde. err

It's totally understandable if you tuned out by that point. But the five minutes she was in it were probably the most enjoyable ones.

It takes movies a very long time to reach down under.

Something would have been very wrong if the Australia movie wasn't at least released in the same month as in the states. lol

She's different from the actress that played Kitty in X2.

Well, your country is so big, you can't have a movie named after it and it not be epic!

I have heard of Lantana but not seen it.

I have never even heard of that one. confuse

I had to look it up. Jindabyne was in the theaters here for five weeks only last year and grossed a total of $225,000.

I do remember Lantana though. It think it occasionally airs on cable.

they tried to make it accessible to US audiences by casting Laura Linney in it, but honestly an outspoken, forward american character doesn't gel with the Australian small town psyche. Actually that was pretty much what the movie was all about lol

wave I loved it. I was apprehensive about Ratner, but he did a great job IMO. I loved the scene at the Greys especially. X2 is still my favorite (and my favorite non-Spidey comic movie), but I thought X3 was much better than the original.

I've only seen it once so perhaps I need to rewatch it just to make sure, but from what I remember there were too many characters. The fight scenes were choreographed badly so a lot of times, people would just be standing around posing. Also, the fact that my favorite character Cyclops dies in the first five minutes didn't help either. mad

The scene at the Greys' house was the best part.

I also like X3.

It is flawed to be sure which is disappointing, and it looks really cheaply made, which I do not understand, but I like it.
