True Blood & Entourage

Does anyone else watch these on HBO like me? I think Entourage is funny-I'm just getting into it lol True Blood is just weird eek I know the vampire thing is being used as a metaphor for other social issues, but the show is still kinda strange lol

I haven't watched Entourage yet this season, but True Blood has been a steaming pile of diseased orangutan feces.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

I'm really into vampires, so I decided to check "True Blood" out On Demand. I find it hard to follow- I know shows tend to try & develop all the characters in the beginning of a series, but WTF?! Unless some of them are going 2 start turning into vampires, I don't care about them! confused
Sookie is annoying, and I HATE her angry best friend's voice & forced accent. Don't get me started on that awful stereotype her cousin is- a gay, drug-dealing male prostitute who services vampires?! hmph!

Knowing me, I'll keep trying, tho... disbelief

I've never seen "Entourage". shrug

I'm a little disappointed with True Blood, it's hard to follow at times. I've never watched Endtourage and probably never will.

Entourage is one of the best shows around these days, although I hear the newer seasons aren't the best...I've only seen up to season 3, waiting for season 4 to come out on dvd already. But I've loved what I've seen of it

Gawd! you said exactly EVERYTHING I was gonna say lol

That show is sooo silly! I love vampires too, but I am just not enjoying this show at all. The characters are all extremely annoying! Each and every one of them! disbelief

I could never get into Entourage, but I've been watching True Blood though. The show is kind of interesting & disappointing at the same time. I like the concept of vampires as another race living amongst humans but I keep wondering when one of them is going to start turning some humans into vampires like that annoyingly naïve Sookie chick. If she doesn't fuck Bill soon I'm going to start getting sexually myself. And Tara, she's annoying as hell too. They need to write her in a boyfriend and soon so she van stop chasing that guy who don't like her ass, & besides that, every chick he fucks end up dead anyway. And don't get me started on that gay thuggish prostitute cousin of hers. He makes my skin crawl. Eww...
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I know what you mean about it being interesting and disappointing at the same time. I'm really trying to give it a chance to become better. Tara is becoming more likable to me, so I'm hoping the show itself will follow suit.

I've watched every episode of "True Blood" and enjoy the hell out of it. It is the fastest "hour" on television for me.

I've started reading the series of books it is based on and find the differences annoying in the show, however....it's still fun to watch.

I've watched "Entourage" and enjoy it as well, but don't follow it closely.

Same here. I saw a little bit of Entourage when it first aired and was put off by the characters. They remind me of frat boys. Pass! I think we're in the minority as far as True Blood. Most people I've talked to who have read the book don't have a problem with it, because they say the book is actually campy.

That's EXACTLY what I said! omg Those are the same 3 characters I can't stand, and I feel like some of them should be vampires, too!

Is it just me?

I think that the Restaurant owner, in the the show True Blood, is a Werewolf.

I think that's where they're going with it, since he barks in his sleep, and he was really friendly with that dog that follows Sookie around. I don't think he's the killer; I think they're trying to make us suspect him.

So far, though, they haven't given us many murder suspects to go on, which doesn't make for a very interesting murder mystery. I'm leaning toward the grandma.

Thank you! I thought it was just me. Heehee!!!

I just think it's the evil vampires that are doing it but that wouldn't be very interesting either.

That's kind of the problem for me--that the murders aren't very interesting. I just think they're trying to make it a mystery surrounding one of the main characters instead of just some random unknown vampire. But part of the problem is that the women who have been killed so far are totally disposable--their only purpose (and it's a very good purpose) is to get Jason naked every episode. So I hope they don't run out of 'em anytime soon, but it wouldn't hurt the show to make the mystery aspect more interesting.
