Is there a way of setting these deals up so that they'll email you when a certain kind of thing is posted? For example, Norm MacDonald now has accounts - can I set my account so that I'm alerted when he posts something new?

P.S. Norm had a great MySpace joke on Stern. Wish I could remember exactly what he said, but I'll have to paraphrase:

'Have you ever noticed that all your "friends" on this thing are, like, complete and total strangers? And that most of them look like whores?'

I'm sure there's a way of doing this and I'm sure somebody here knows. I refuse to believe otherwise.

I think if you go into your account settings there is probably a way to do it. I get alerted to things, but I cannot remember how I did it.

Well, it's not just up to you, but yes, in the account settings, go to the notifications tab, where you could choose what to be notified of and how.

But people can also choose to not notify others about their actions.
