parking in downtown los angeles!! HELP!!! I was in downtown LA yesterday, and I had a hard time finding parking.
I went to the garment district to get fabric for my xmas blankets yeaterday. I paid 8 dollars for some idiots to park my car in the corner on top of a building. Then, when I went back to get my car, it was blocked in. It took me 20 minutes to get my car. I watched to valet people bump into others peoples cars!!! DAMN!!! Then I wanted to go to Olvera st. Parking was 9.00!!!! I didnt wanna pay it, so I left.I dont go to LA often, but when I do, I really like to go to different areas and shop/eat while in out there. Does anyone know where there is public or cheaper parking in the downtown area? Say it's just a dream...

Take a bus, learn the bus routes. Cheaper than parking and a lot less hassle.
