When I was a little girl I wanted my name to be Felicia, like Frisco and Felicia on General Hospital. Then as I got older I wanted to be named Star, like the girl in the movie The Lost Boys. Now I'm happy with my name. I think it fits me. I can't imagine it being anything else. I'd rather change my last name. Shake it til ya make it  | |

I knew a girl named Mindy in high school that I was introduced to in my early 20's as "Star". One day I had been on a snowboarding date with this guy and we went back to his place to make dinner and she was a roommate of his and I couldn't figure out why she was so familiar to me till all of a sudden I finally placed it and looked at her and said, OMG, MINDY!?!?! She blushed like mad and we caught up a bit and I couldn't help but laugh about it ever since. When I was little I wanted the name Kimberly, after the sister on Diff'rent Strokes.
And there were a few years there where if I were to change my name it would have been Stella. But yeah, I'm happy with my own name now. |
