to stay out of public if you're sneezing uncontrollably?



I'm supposed to go to a show tonight, but I swear I've sneezed no fewer than 700 times today. My nose is stuffy and my throat is starting to itch. And the sneezing is getting almost unbearable. It's simply not stopping.

I feel relatively OK otherwise.

It's fairly obvious I'm getting sick, but I really don't want my ticket to go to waste.

If I promise not to touch anyone and wash my hands every 10 minutes, can I still go?

you can still go because you're an adult and can do what you want.

have you taken any cold medicine?

I can't take cold medicine, or rather, I really, really don't like to. It generally makes me feel worse than the cold symptoms do. I get dizzy and spacey and speedy and it makes me pee every 5 minutes. So I tend to avoid them.

Sounds more like allergies than anything. And they're not contagious.

bring tissues, and go for it!
