Life Can Be So Nice: Share Some Fond Memories!

Tell us about a treasured moment in your life.

I am lying in some beanbag chairs, with my terrace door open, listening to the sounds of the city and The Howard Stern Show on this here laptop. I just finished vacuuming and chatting with a friend. It's the little things that count. cloud9

While I cannot endorse the consumption of alcohol, this is a very sweet story mushy (although I've never seen The Color Purple - it's a tearjerker, right?).

hmmm, when i was young, i was always goofy. when i grew older, i became goofier than ever that people like to fondly call me that.

years ago, before i lost innocence, i was always smiling and giggling that people liked to call me 'giggles' and 'sunshine' and 'bubbbles', etc. [once when i went to a temple with my aunts and they were singing, i joined in and i guess the members liked me so much because they put my picture in their newsletter.]

i remember the day when i first faced my future, he stared me in the face. sigh, i didn't know it would turn to love. now as each day goes by, our bond grows and so does my love for him. when i watch this man, and see the things he goes through i've come to appreciate him more and my respect for him grows. he's slowly bringing back feeling and life into my heart.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Unfortunately most of my fondest memories were with people that are now dead.

My cousin and I were like twins. We always had the best time together, even doing nothing.

I used to love when my parents and I would go to my aunt and uncles (of the same cousin posted above) for whatever occassion and just hang out. I still get that warm feeling I used to get just thinking about it.

I still hang out with them but it's a little different. My mom is gone my cousin is gone. The good thing is that now we have all these new pre-teens and teens hanging out. I feel old. I still have a great time though.
