How long do you keep numbers stored on your cell phone?

I have so many numbers and want to do a clean up, but I always think that I'm going to need that number someday. Even if it's a friend I haven't talked to in years! Heck, I bet some of the numbers don't even work anymore. Any advice? I'm like a pack rat when it comes to telephone numbers. confused

Write them down..put them away...and clean out your phone. If you really need to contact that person, you can look them up on the paper.

whenever I upgrade handset, If I haven't called the person in the previous 12 months I delete it. Fuck I have numbers in there I have never called (mainly business related) and also my lawyer who specialises in keeping people out of jail lol

if i think i will need em, i put them in my phone book. if i don't, then bye bye. i try to keep a list of phone numbers somewhere else just in case, but i'm not very good at keeping it updated.

Just delete them, thats what I do, if they want to find you that much they will find you what with facebook and all that! and if you don't ever hear from them again then its their loss, they should have kept in touch with you! If its business numbers and you're not sure then write them on a piece of paper and keep it safe. wink
